Stefan cel Mare recunoaste suzeranitatea regelui Ungariei
La 12 iulie 1475 Stefan cel Mare, domnul Moldovei (1457-1504), a recunoscut suzeranitatea regelui Ungariei si a obtinut sprijinul lui Matei Corvin in lupta impotriva turcilor. Suzeranitatea este o relatie in care un stat sau o alta politica controleaza politica externa si relatiile unui stat tributar, permitand in acelasi timp statului tributar sa aiba autonomie interna.
